Dear Parents,

Homework assignment sheets were not sent home due to printer problems.  The problems have now been resolved and the sheets will come home tomorrow.  The homework tonight is to read and record on the reading log, do an activity on spellingcity.com, (Unit 13) and review play lines.  There is no long range reading assignment this week due to the upcoming holiday, but remember reading logs are due (totaled please) on the Monday we return following our holiday. Thanks!

 

Thanks also to the families who have responded to let me know how many family members plan to attend our play on Friday.  This informtion is helpful to me in planning seating and refreshments.  If you have not yet responded, I'd appreciate hearing from you by Wednesday.

 

On Tuesday, the staff and students will enjoy a very special candlelight Thanksgiving feast.  Students are requested to dress in their holiday best.  This feast is unable to accomodate visting parents---sorry!  We are also celebrating the "giving" in

Thanksgiving by making cards for our armed forces and donating items for care packages such as protein bars, tuna foil packets, hygiene items ( shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, etc.).  Please have your student bring this donation tomorrow.
