Unit 4: The Nature of Light
Unit Summary: The purpose of this unit is for students to investigate the
nature of light. Students will learn that the behavior of light is affected
by different media such as: mirrors, lenses, and prisms. Through a variety
of learning activites. Students will see how light interacts with matter;
explore the physical attributes and uses of a convex lens, and a prism; see
first-hand, the differences between opaque, translucent, and transparent
material; and explore the reflection of light through the use of a mirror.

Unit 4: Beneficial & Microorganisms
Unit Summary: The purpose of this unit is to understand that microorganism
can be beneficial and/or harmful. The students will see how some
microorganism can be controlled.
