I was born and raised in Montevallo, AL. I attained my undergraduate degree
at Alabama State University where I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education.
I recently earned a Master's Degreee in Instruction from Central Michigan
University. I have a wonderful husband, Valmiro Silva, who is from Brazil.
I have 2 step-children, Josival and Vanessa and a "fluffy" and lazy cat
named Oreo. This is my 8th year of teaching. I love teaching and learning
new things from my students everyday!
