Testing

St Luke School administers the Iowa Test of Baisc Skills (ITBS) to students
in grades one through eight. This is a nationally normed-referenced test
whose scores are used to measure our student's strengths and weaknesses.
Scores are also utilized in curriculum planning and goal setting for school
improvement.

Students in grades 1 and 2 take the core battery which includes Reading,
Math, and Language. Students in grades 3-8 take the complete battery which
includes Reading, Math, Language, Science, Social Studies, Reference
Materials and Maps and Diagrams. In addition, 3rd graders are administered
the Word Analysis and Listening subtests.

The test will be administered the week of March 24,2008.
