not conform… Be transformed.

Dear Parents,
What an awesome year!
I want to thank all of the parents who chaperoned and drove for our
end-of-year party at Monkey Joe’s. I
think the kids had a great time. A
special thanks goes to all who helped make this year a success, whether it was
driving, chaperoning, sending in treats for parties, or supporting your child
and me. You each have been a blessing to me.
Thanks again.
You will see among the graded
papers a reading assessment. Have your child read this story to you. What readers we have become! You may use the Renaissance Place website to
find titles of AR books to read over the summer. Also, take some time to look through your
child’s journal and their portfolio of their favorite work.
Over the summer, practice the math addition and
subtraction facts! These are vital for
future math success. Take an opportunity
to practice counting any and all coins up to a dollar.

Above all, enjoy your time together and make time for
fun.
VBS: Please remember to register
for Vacation Bible School. We are
heading out on an “Amazing Desert Journey” June 11-15. You can register online through the St. Paul
website.
A thought to
ponder: Remember: The power we have as
parents, and adults in the community, wield much more impact on kids than many
of us are willing to admit. Always
let God be your power
