Mrs. Fleming came to St. Thomas More School from Baltimore, Maryland. There
she taught middle school social studies and Language Arts at St. Joseph's
Catholic School for ten years.
Mrs. Fleming first came to STM as a seventh grade homeroom teacher and again
taught Language Arts, social studies, and Art. She moved to eighth grade
homeroom teacher and became middle school coordinator, working with Sr.
Margaret Thomasine who was a wonderful mentor.
In 1990 Mrs. Fleming began the job of STM school Counselor. The job is
without a doubt the best job at St. Thomas More. Mrs. Fleming works with
all the students at STM and gets to watch the kids grow up before her very
eyes!

skills and experiences are identified as age appropriate, and information is
given to provide students with opportunities to learn about themselves and
others.
About the Life Skills Program:
The Life Skills Program is structured around four goals:
Learning to Live (personal and social skills)
Learning to Learn (academic skills)
Learning to Love (recognizing the Presence of Christ in each other)
Learning to Make a Living (exploring careers, occupations, and vocations for

Through the program the students will see that life, learning and work is an
