Marie Potter - Art

The Adaptive Art Program began in 1995. I am proud to be a part of the staff since 1998.

Prior to being an Adaptive Art Specialist, I was a "stay at home Mom" of five children ( a daughter, followed by four sons).

Prior to raising a family, I was an art teacher for 7 years in the public schools of Stockbridge, MA(K-12), North Branford, CT's first Elementary Art Teacher,

and in the school system of South Windsor, Ct. Before our youngest son was born I was the art teacher for St. Jude the Apostle School for over a year.

Our family has lived in the Atlanta area since 1977.

My husband Jim and I met in college. I am a graduate of the College of New Rochelle with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. (Art Major, Ed Minor)

Graduate work was done at the University of Connecticut.

I am so happy that my base school has been Sweet Apple since the 2000-2001 school year.
