I am originally from Long Island, NY, but I moved to Marietta, GA while I was in high school.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of West Georgia, in Carrollton, GA.  I received my Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Montevallo, in Montevallo, AL.  I am a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.  After graduation, I spent some time working with middle school students, as well as elderly patients in the medical setting.  In 2005, I began working at Sweet Apple Elementary School, and in 2008, I was nominated for the Teacher of the Year award.  I have a strong interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as children with challenging behaviors.  I live in Woodstock with my husband, Clay, and our beautiful baby girl, Katelyn.
