Let me introduce myself! My name is Katie Knowles. I am the oldest of three
children and grew up in Roswell/Alpharetta. In May 2007, I graduated Magna
Cum Laude from Berry College with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
While in college, I spent much of my time with children in various settings
such as teaching horseback riding lessons, mentoring an elementary student,
teaching a weekly children’s class, and babysitting.
I have been married just over two years. My husband, Matt, and I met at
Berry College. He is a firefighter with the Sandy Springs Fire Department.
We love spending time outdoors together. I also enjoy reading, photography,
traveling, cooking, and playing with our dog, Ellie. We are joyfully
expecting our first child, Addison Marie, in January. We are thrilled about
entering this new stage in our lives!
This is my third year teaching second grade at Sweet Apple. I am very
passionate about teaching and I love spending time with children!
