Well, we only have two more days of CRCT and attendance has been excellent. Thank you so much for having your child come to school well fed and rested! Yeah!

If possible could you please have your child bring in some more paper and pencils. The students have been so busy and now supplies are running a little low.
If you would like to order books from scholastic. Our classroom activation code is J27GX. I have activated several of the Scholastic book order club catalogs on there for you to look over. The due date will typically be around the last Wednesday of the month.
This year we are going to be focusing heavily on writing and reading, as I will be integrating Science and Social Studies in to our Reading/ELA units as well. Thank you so much for all of the fabulous classroom donations and for making sure your child is well prepared for class.
The children have been fabulous with their new best friends, their expandables! The front section holds their agendas, wallet, and blue sheet. Please check over and sign your child's blue sheet each day. This is a wonderful form of communication between us! If there are important documents needing to go home, I will staple them to that sheet, as well. The children have been great with filling out their agendas!
As the school year progresses, please randlomly check your child's supplies to see that they have enough of what they need (paper, pencils, hand held pencil sharpener, colored pencils......) Thank you!!!!!!!

1 Expandable (at least 5 sections)
4 12-pack pre-sharpened Ticonderoga pencils.
2 boxes of Crayola colored pencils
2 wide-ruled composition books
2 wide-ruled spiral notebooks
4 packages of 3” post-it pads. Each pack a different color.
1 ruler
3 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper
2 yellow highlighters
1 pair of 3” Fiskar scissors
1 24-pack of Crayola crayons
2 pens (any color)
2 jumbo glue sticks
2 pink Pearl erasers
1 box of Kleenex
1 box of Clorox wipes
1 box of Crayola colored markers
1 pack of dark colored low odor dry-erase markers.
2 pocket folders without brads.

Girls: 1 ream of any light colored copy paper
