We are into the 1st 9 weeks  in the Rescource Room. We will begin our study of traditional literature. Students will continue  reading Thrills and Spills  from the focus Series concentrating

on decoding skills. The students will also be reading non fiction text as a supplement to our new science curriculum. Silent and oral reading comprehension will be taught using a variety of strategies including the Insight  Program and Comprehension Assessment Reading Strategies Series. We are

expanding our vocabulary using the Sadler - Oxford Vocabulary Workshop program.
