About The Teacher

    I have been an elementary school teacher for 20+ years. I have had the 
pleasure of teaching at Timber Ridge for the past eleven years.  During this 
time, I have held various positions as a para-professional, substitute, 
supply teacher, and classroom teacher.      
     I am originally from Michigan, where I graduated from Siena Heights 
University with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  I began my teaching career 
in Kalamazoo, MI.   I taught in the Chicago Public System after my husband 
was transferred.  Since transferring to Atlanta in 1995, we've made East Cobb 
our home.
     On a personal note, my husband and I are blessed to have three children. 
Our two oldest children are currently in college and our youngest is a tenth 
grade student here in East Cobb. 
     I am very fortunate to be teaching at a top rated school like Timber 
Ridge.  The parents and students here are the best! I'm looking forward to a 
new year with a new group of students.
