Do you celebrate birthdays at school?

Birthdays are fun to celebrate at school. The birthday girl or boy often
likes to celebrate the special day with their classmates. You may send in a
birthday treat such as cookies, cupcakes, popsicles, etc. We usually eat the
treats during or after lunch. Please let me know in advance if you would
like to send in a treat.

Can I have lunch at school with my child?

You are welcome to join us for lunch most days during the school year. We
ask that you not come on Early Release Days and during Conference Week
because of the change in our schedules and the fact that we may be eating in
our classroom. Our lunch time is from 11:46-12:16. Please wait for us
outside the lunchroom and join our line
there.

Does my child need to bring a snack to school?

We have snack every day around 9:00. Even if they eat a good breakfast, the
children are often hungry before lunch. I recommend that your child bring a
nutritious snack every day so he or she can make it through the morning
without getting too hungry.
