With the new Georgia Performance Standards in the implementation phase,
this is the perfect time for collaboration between classroom teachers and
teacher librarians. Lessons are created in collaboration with grade level
teams to support the curriculum with resources, both print and non-print,
outside of the classroom. Students may explore sites that expand and enrich
classroom studies, using laptops to visit designated sites. We are looking
forward to a great 2008-2009 school year of sharing and learning!
