Trickum has a basketball cheerleading squad. Tryouts are held every
spring to select the students for the next academic year.
Students must be eligible by passing 5 out of 6 classes for the semester of
tryouts and during the year they participate in the sport. Tryouts are
based on performance, knowledge of routine and cheer, skill level, and
personality. Behavior and Academics are also used in the selection process of the squad.
Students interested in trying out should listen to the TMS announcements for
information. The cheerleading web page will also contain documents needed in order
to tryout. These forms are posted in March.

Trickum Cheerleaders are community and school leaders. Their main purpose
is to cheer at Trickum Basketball games and support the school and student
athletes. They are role models and should represent Trickum Middle School
in a positive way.
