Odyysey of the Mind Team Placed 12th at the World Finals at the University of Maryland!!!!!
WOW!!!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!
We had 38 OMers and 5 coaches attend the first afternoon Odyssey of the Mind
workshop last Thursday afternoon. Thank you so much, Amy Hedrick, for a
wonderful presentation on how to create costumes. You had wonderful ideas.
Our next monthly workshop will be held in media center on Thursday, November
17. This will be a workshop on how to win the spontaneous competition. This
workshop will be led by Abbie Pair, whose OotM team went to World and placed
2nd in spontaneous. If any of you coaches would like to help with this
workshop, please contact Ms. LaPerre asap. Also, OMers, please plan on
attending.

Mind team this year, FIND an adult willing to be your coach. Contact me by e-
mail and we can add another team or two. We have plenty of students from
which to select another team. I would love for every person who tried out
for the team, to be on a team. Unfortunately, I ran out of coaches. Let me
know.
