Technology Education is a nine week course that will offer you the opportunity to explore different areas of current technology used in industry and business. You will rotate through different modules developing your technological literacy through an activity based study of past, present and future technological systems, as well as their resources, processes and impacts on society through hands on activities, textbook assignments and instruction. This class will instill confidence, motivation, passion and initiative.
Our project-based, student-centered learning environment help students of all ability levels develop critical 21st Century Skills. Students learn to use and apply technology. They problem-solve and collaborate. They develop communications skills vital to scholastic and professional success. And they learn how to learn - an approach proven to boost overall academic performance. As they build these skills, and hopefully their enthusiasm for learning grows. Students are prepared for life beyond the classroom in ways not imagined.
