Student Council Home

Jan 14th meeting is canceled. The next meeting is scheduled for Jan 28th 8:15am.

Welcome to the 2009-2010 Student Council Homepage!
Student Council (different than School Council) is usually made up of two representatives from each homeroom.  Student Council helps the school become a better place by promoting social responsibility and fostering leadership.  Our primary campaigns are helping with recycling paper, Drug Awareness Week during October, a Canned Food Drive for the Lilburn Co-op during September/October, selling Trickum Spirit Souvenirs, supporting Relay for Life, going to the Atlanta Food Bank to volunteer, and assisting all other clubs. Most of our work happens in the first semester but we may have a talent show this year that happens at the beginning of the second semester before basketball season starts. We go to the Atlanta Food Bank and participate in the Relay for Life festival event in May.           Scroll down for more information!

A NOTE FOR OFFICERS AND REPRESENTATIVES:
We have had some absences due to you "not knowing" there was a meeting. There are several ways to know about our meetings!!!
---It is announced AT SCHOOL
---Meeting dates are ALWAYS on the website
---The communications manager sends out notification emails!
We understand that some of you don't check your email everyday. All we ask is that you just check every few days! It is only your loss if you miss a meeting. Also, send Mrs. Bowen or I an email if you know you cannot attend ANY meeting. Mrs. Bowen has her email on her teacher website, and my email is listed at the bottom of the page.
