About The Teacher
I've been in Georgia since 1982. I've lived in the west, mid-west, north, east and south. I attended University of Florida, but got my B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education at Kennesaw State University and recently earned my Masters there also. More recently I attended Georgia State University to earn my Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education. Needless to say I enjoy school both teaching and attending. I have two families, at home and at school. My family at home is becoming smaller. My son is a junior in college and my daughter is in college pursuing a teaching degree. My husband and I and two cats keep busy working, reading, playing tennis and traveling. My school family at Tritt is great! I started out being very involved in PTA when we moved here in 1994. I highly recommend getting involved with Tritt's PTA. I did a lot of subbing and eventually worked in the P.E. department which was great to get to know the kids and be active! For eight years I taught kindergarten and now I'm lucky to teach second grade!
