*Our in school field trip "Nature in a Nutshell" will be next Tuesday (12/8). Permission slips were sent home earlier this week. We need your permission slip returned with your money in the provided white envelope ASAP. Your child will not be allowed to particpate without the permission slip and money returned. *The cafeteria is going green in more ways than one! The December lunch menu will be the last menu that we’ll be copying and sending home with students. You can find our monthly menu on the Tritt website and a small quantity will be available in the forms tree near the front office. *The December centers helper calendar is in the back of your child's orange folder. Please look to see if you are signed up to volunteer for centers. There were very few volunteers needed this month, so if you are not on this month's calendar, we will get you in for centers/mystery reader next month. Thanks for your understanding. *Our holiday centers celebration will be Thursday, December 17th. For our centers we will need your help with some of the supplies. Please look for a note in your child's folder on Monday explaining which supplies we need. *How can you invest in your child's education? The Tritt Tiger Foundation looks for ways to provide more for our school, our teachers, and our students. In order to support and enrich our education, they need help from Tritt families. If you have donated in the past, we all greatly appreciate your contributions. If you have not donated, and are interested in investing in your child's education, I encourage you to donate to the TTF. We are very fortunate to have all of the resources we have here at Tritt. For example, the ActivBoard I have in my classroom was provided by the TTF. I'm sure your children can tell you, or already have told you about all the times we use the ActivBoard. This educational tool is a resource I have come to rely on everyday, and the enrichment it adds to my lessons creates more engaged and enthusiastic students. We only have 15 classrooms left that do not have Activboards. Our goal is to equip these last 15 classrooms with Activboards and mounted LCD projectors. The money you donate now could help up reach this goal.
