About The Teacher
Hello! My name is Tamara Estes. This is my second year at Vaughan and my fourteenth year in Cobb County. Previously, I was at Powder Springs Elementary for twelve years and have taught 5th grade, 3rd grade, and as an EIP teacher with 2nd and 1st grade. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University in 1995. I have lived in Cobb County my whole life. My husband, Buddy and I are both graduates of McEachern High School. Buddy is an insurance agent with Allstate. We have been married for sixteen years and have three beautiful daughters, Trinity age 7, Tristen age 5 and Tracen age 4. Trinity and Tristen are both students here at Vaughan, Trinity will be starting 2nd and Tristen will be in kindergarten. We are avid Georgia Bulldog fans in our family. My husband is a graduate of UGA. GO DAWGS!!!! My love outside of my family and teaching is scrapbooking. It is a hobby that lets me focus on all the many blessings in my life. I look forward to the opportunity to teach your child this year. It is a great privilege to work with children.
