I live in Kennesaw with my husband, Bob, and our two pets, Sassy and
Rocket. I have three grown children. My oldest son is married and an officer
in the Marines. My daughter, and middle child, is a senior at Case
Western Reserve University in Ohio, and my youngest son is a sophomore at
Georgia State University in Atlanta.
I grew up in the cold, snowy, state of Michigan; and my children
were all born in Cleveland, Ohio, which is also cold. I have lived in
warm and sunny Georgia now for almost eleven years now and love it. I also
love animals especially dogs, cats and horses. A few things I enjoy are
baking, dancing, and decorating. But can you guess what I love doing
most of all? That's right...I love teaching!
My personal mission for every school year is to create a place in each
student's heart filled with a love of reading and learning! We are students
for life, so much to see and do and learn... I'd like it to be exciting for
your child! Each child has a right to feel good about themselves. Success in
each subject area is affected by one's reading ability! I want to help give
each child the tools they need to become good readers and good problem
solvers!
