Hi my name is Kim Scott and this is my fourth year at Vaughan. Before coming
to Vaughan I taught at Sanders Elementary in Cobb County. I taught 3 years
in 2nd grade and 1 year in kindergarten. I absolutely love teaching. Each
year begins a new journey with a lot of adventures.
I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In the summer of 2002,my
husband’s company transferred him to Kennesaw, GA and we have been
living here ever since. We love living here because of the southern
hospitality and the changing seasons. We miss the beaches in Florida, but not
the constant hot weather and hurricanes.
I have a son named Landon who just turned 4 in July and another son named
Logan who is 1. They keep us very busy. We can’t figure out what we
did with all of our time before they came, but we love every second we get to
spend as a family. I am looking forward to another great year at Vaughan. I
am very excited and
I can’t wait to meet everyone.
My mission is for every student to succeed to the best of their ability. Our
classroom will be a place where they can feel safe to learn and explore. I
believe in every student and I want each and every experience they have to
be a positive one where they can feel successful!
