Our holiday party is scheduled for Friday, December 18th from 10:45-11:55. Mrs. Akin has a very unique craft for the students to create. She will also be contacting you regarding snacks and donations. If you plan on taking your child home after the party, please be sure to sign you child out on the sheet taped to our classroom door.

We are in need of magazines for our Parts Of Speech poster. Please send in as many as you can. We will also be focusing on nonfiction comprehension skills.

Math
We will be taking the benchmark test for this nine weeks on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. in our homeroom classes. The last day for math compacting will be on Monday the 14th (Emie's birthday).

Spelling
Spelling unit 6 in our Words Their Way book. We will be learning about adding the suffix -ION to base words. The students will be copying the words in their agenda on Monday to study throughout the week.
