The 2008 - 09 school year is my 15th year teaching (my 7th at Vaughan).
I have 4 years experience teaching kindergarten and 10 in 1st grade! I am
thrilled to have the opportunity in 2008-09 to be in 2nd grade with most of
my class.
I have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education (B.S.-
Kennesaw; M.Ed.- Georgia State), TSS endorsement (for having student
teachers and mentoring new teachers), and my Gifted Student certification.
Summer 2007, I began working on my specialist's degree (Ed.S.) at West
Georgia and will graduate May 9, 2009.
My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 7 years and live in Powder
Springs. You will see a lot of pictures of our 5 year old, Alison. She is a
kindergartner in Mrs. David's class.
I have spent most of my life in Cobb County and am a rare find (an actual
Georgia native).

This year we are going to learn a lot and have a great time doing it! I am
excited about all the technology we are going to be using this year. You
won't want to miss a day! We will hit the groung running this fall in math,
writing, and reading comprehension. Science and Social Studies will be
another great addition that will have its own time for research and
discovery.
