Unfortunately, there is not always enough time for us to study all of our
interests in as much depth as we would like. Therefore, if a student takes
an interest in a topic, related to the material that we are studying, they
will be allowed to pursue a brief independent study. This independent
study may range from a research report or brief presentation to a creative
product that the student designs. There are no limitations. Upon
completion of their study, the student will be asked to share his/her
findings with the class. The project will count towards their average. By
no means is this part of our course requirements.
