Dr. Miller worked 16 years at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers [now called
Propex/SI] in various jobs including: utility worker, weaver, loom fixer,
hourly supervisor, salaried supervisor, statistician, trainer, training
manager, and reliability engineer. All the time at Amoco, Dr. Miller worked
on his education and had a Masters Degree in Mathematics Education when he
left to join Bainbridge College as a Tech Prep Coordinator.
Dr. Miller joined Bainbridge College in 1999 as a Tech Prep Coordinator. In
2001 he became the Instructional Coordinator for the college, Interim Vice
President of Student Affairs in 2002, and Assistant to the President in
2003. Dr. Miller acquired his Ph.D. in Comprehensive Vocational Education
from Florida State University in December of 2003.
In 2004, Dr. Miller joined West Bainbridge Middle School as Instructor of
the Gifted for mathematics and social studies. He is currently certified to
teach all of the core academic curriculum in middle school [social studies,
English, reading, science, and mathematics] as well as high school
mathematics.
