This is my fourth year teaching at Britt David Magnet Academy, and I am
so happy to be teaching in such an excellent school! I graduated from the
University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) with a degree in business. Then, I worked
at Aflac for three years while earning my Master's degree in Early Childhood
Education from Troy University. I met my fabulous husband, Chad, while
working there. I could not be more pleased with the switch to teaching, or
with my wonderful students!
I live in Columbus with my wonderful husband, our sweet baby, Caroline
(who will turn 2 in October) and little bichon doggy named Maggie. I am
blessed with a beautiful family! I enjoy spending time with my family,
traveling, watching movies, and reading. My all time favorite subject is
math, and I am the math team co-sponsor at Britt David. My favorite color is
pink, and I love frogs (but not the real ones...yuck)!
It is my goal that all of my students will learn to work together as a
classroom community and individually to reach their academic and social
goals in a safe and nurturing classroom environment filled with high
expectations and support.
