WELCOME BACK! Today was an awesome first day of school. I have sent out an email to all of the parents. Please check your email daily to ensure that you are up-to-date with the latest BDMA and 5th Grade Classroom Information!
NEW WEB PAGE LOOK AND FEEL:
My website has been updated! In order for you to be able to see the page in its
entirety, you may need to update your version of Internet Explorer for FREE!! Go to
www.microsoft.com and click on Downloads. There, you will see an option for Internet
Explorer 8. It is a very simple process and is FREE.
TRANSPORTATION HOME:
When and if the way your child goes home changes from the norm, please either send a
written note or an email. If emailing, please title the subject line with your
child's name and the words TRANSPORTATION HOME. If a note is not received, your child
will go home the same way as they have before.
LUNCH MONEY: NEW THINGS HAPPENING!!! MCSD ACCEPTS CASH ONLY FOR STUDENT LUNCH! If you would like to use the new online lunch account access through Muscogee County
School District to place funds on your child's lunch account, please visit
https://www.mylunchmoney.com/index.aspx via the MCSD website.
If you would like to continue to send money to the school for your child(ren), please
make sure to place your child's money in an envelope with their name on the outside of
the envelope. This makes it a lot easier for the cafeteria to clearly identify who the
money belongs to. If you are sending money for 2 children who are in different
classes, please specify who the money is for and how much should be placed in their
account.
HOMEWORK:
Please check homework for my class and Mrs. Brown's class daily. Students should be
writing down their homework in their planners. Their planners are in their DOG (Daily
Organizational Guide) Books.
Children First,
Dana Thompson
