About The Teacher
I have always wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. When I was a child, like many of you,I loved playing school. I almost always landed the teaching position. My school play was different because as I grew older I still had a yearning to teach, but everybody was too old to play school. I decided that I had to teach. I attened CSU a few years ago(smile). There I was worked very hard. The hard work prepared me to meet the call of working with some of the best students in the world. I have truly enjoyed working with them. I have had such a rewarding career. I have completed thirty five years of doing nothing but teaching. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I find it very hard to say good-bye. You see, I have taught many children whom I love and all of them have become a part of my life. They come back to see me each year. I get the biggest reward when they inform me of the fantastic jobs they have. They tell me that I played a role in their decision to go to college. That idea makes me feel ten feet tall. This is not a joke, if I could start all over again, I would be just who I am ( a teacher).
Mission Label:
Mission
My mission for the class is to make sure each student shows an academic gain. I do this by using different teaching strategies. I also hold the belief that each student learns at a different pace. In knowing this, I work until each student has mastered the objectives that are taught.I will not leave any of my students behind. They will never fall between the cracks.
