5th Grade Supply List – (2009-2010)
- Backpack (no large gym style bags)
- 1 (two inch / zipper binder (similar to trapper keeper)
- One large zip-up pouch (big enough for colored and regular pencils
- Plenty of notebook paper for the year. This can be kept in student cubbie
- ****Sterilite Basket – approx. 16X13X6 (at Walmart or Dollar General)
- 1 set of colored pencils - - - sharpened
- 24 count #2 pencils – NO mechanical pencils (PLEASE)!
- Pencil sharpener that neatly captures and holds pencil shavings.
- 1 Large pink eraser
- 1 three prong (pocket folder)
- 10 notebook dividers with tabs
- 2 composition notebooks-(spiral)
- 5 book covers (Please get the stretchy JUMBO size)
- 2 packages of 3 x 5 index cards (will need more later)
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 bag of individually wrapped candy, gum or chocolate.
Examples include Tootsie roll Pops, caramels, starbursts, Jolly Ranchers, bubble gum, and of course, any type of individually wrapped chocolate. J
**** SUPPLIES CAN BE BROUGHT AND LEFT IN THE CLASSROOM DURING REGISTRATION. PLEASE WRITE THEIR NAME ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BAG AND OUTSIDE OF EACH ITEM.
REMEMBER - DURING REGISGRATION - please pay with separate checks

$5.00 - PTA membership – We need 100% participation

Purchasing one during the summer will guarantee you will find one – See one early if you’d like.
Please remember that many of these supplies are needed all year long, and some may need to be replenished or replaced during the year. Keep pencils and paper at all times. If we run out of tissue, paper towels, etc., we will need more. January is a good time to check.
