Yea! Gabbi, Ramya, Clarie, Arya, Saili and Anish are Millionaires.
In order to be a "Millionaire" first grade students have to read 250 books. Remember, every time
you read a book, write it on your reading log. If you have a favorite book that you like to
read, you can log the book each time you read it. If you run out of room on the reading logs you
can just use notebook paper. I want you to get credit for every book.
Parents, please encourage your child to read by taking the time to listen to them. Nothing
helps improve reading more than practice. Once your child has become a Millionaire don't stop
logging their books. Our top three readers will get to have lunch with the first grade teachers at the
end of the year so keep them reading.
To be in the Non Fiction Club students need to read at least 20 nonfiction books and make at least 80 on the AR test. We have serveral Non Fiction Readers: Ajay (60), Anish (60) , Nykeria (20), Sean D (20), Arya (20), Ramaya (20), and Likhitha (20).
