The Key to Atlanta
This activity involves traveling to as many local attractions as possible
within a set time and price. Students will become travel agents and design
travel packages for visitors to Atlanta who are staying for a weekend. The
focus needs to be on time, cost, and distance. You will provide the best
package for your clients!

DESIGNERS:
1.Research 4/5 common Atlanta attractions e.g. Zoo Atlanta, World of Coke,
Georgia Aquarium, CNN Studio, Turner Field, Fernbank, Phillips Arena, Fox
Theater, IMax Theater, Underground Atlanta, High Museum of Art, History
Center, Six Flags, and Margaret Mitchell House.
2.Calculate the distance between each attraction using Google Maps, and create
a table to keep track of your data.
3.Research each ticket price for the attractions. (Prices can be researched
on the internet). Your clients don't want to spend more than $150 on their trip.
4.Include the hours of operation and pictures representing each attraction on
the brochure, as well.
5.Final travel packages will need to include: Price for the package (to
include lunch, parking, and agent fees), name of attraction, time allotted for
visit (include travel time and hours of operation).
