About The Coach

This is my fifth year at East Side and my fifth year teaching. I graduated
from North Georgia College where I earned a BS in Exercise Science and a MED
in Physical Education. At North Georgia I played soccer for the Saints and
then served as Assistant Men's Soccer Coach for three years following my
senior season.

I grew up in Athens, GA and I am a huge DAWG fan. Growing up I played soccer,
football, basketball and baseball, but I eventually settled on soccer. I
always loved PE when I was a student and my love for Physical Education
continues to this day. Getting active is so important for everyone and the
earlier healthy living habits are established the more likely they will stick
as children become adults. That is why I value my job so much; I get to teach
children how to live healthy and how to get active. Hopefully my teachings
will have a life-long impact!

On top of teaching P.E. at East Side I also coach soccer at Cobb Futbol Club
and Pope High School. I am very fortunate to be able to work with children in
all of these fantastic environments.
