: : : : Photo: About The Teacher Label: About The Teacher I grew up in Charlotte, NC but spent some time in Chicago and Wisconsin, where I met my husband, David. We moved to Georgia in 1997 and currently live in Marietta with our two children. Our son Andrew is 5 and our daughter Virginia was born in March 2011. I joined East Side Elementary in 2005 and completed my master's degree at Kennesaw State University in May 2010. I love working with little ones and watching them grow and learn throughout the year. Kindergarten is where my heart is! Mission Label: Mission Aside from meeting all the academic standards and goals in kindergarten, I want each student to love learning and love school. Children are naturally curious and I want to nurture that curiosity so that each child can reach his is or her full potential.
