Students were excited to exceed their goal in post card contest. Students enjoyed receiving mail from almost every continent and found bridge post card collecting to be a super avenue for learning geography. Thanks again to all students and parents who supported this project. Some parents have been super about checking for bridge postcards while on business trips. Thank you!
Next week is the last day of our nine weeks grading period. As with all units students take a pre test and then a post test. Students will take a post test next Tuesday to see if they have accomplished learning all our essential questions and bridge terminology. We did not discuss this in class as it is not a test they need to study for because they are all familiar with bridge curriculum and are prepared for the post test. As well, we'll continue our bridge construction and look forward to a bridge competition when we return from holidays. May the strongest bridge win!
If your child would like to bring in a snack for a holiday party next Tuesday during Target, we'll have time to celebrate. Snacks, fruits, or juice drinks would be a treat.
