What is the best way for me to contact Mrs. Rosenblat?

The best way to set up a conference, ask me a question, or relate a concern would be through an
email or a note. The voicemail system is in the main building, so I don't get to check it unless I am
near a phone. I may not get the message soon enough to offer a response. I generally answer
emails the same day or within 24 hours.

What if my child says that there is no homework, and I'd like to confirm that?

We stop with our lesson each day at around 1:50 to write all assignments in the planner. All
assignments, however, are on the board all day so that your child doesn't need to wait till the end
of the day to write it. I encourage the children to write the assignments down earlier in case of
an end-of-the-day fire drill. I am also aware that some children "forget" to write in their
planner, have left it at home, or you can't "decipher" what they have written down. In that case,
please check on my web page for the assignments due.

May I bring in a treat for my child's birthday?

ABSOLUTELY!!! We ALL love something sweet!!! Your child may bring in the treat in the morning. If
the treat comes in later in the day, please take it to the office, and they will notify us to pick it up.
you may send in cupcakes, cookies, or cake. If the treat needs to be cut, please do so at home. We
have 19 children in the class( and 20 if you count me as one of the children)!
