Addition/Subtraction Flashcard Fun! Your child's first set of fluency flashcards is coming home today. Please keep these cards as long as needed, but for at least 3 days. Use the back of this week's newsletter for quick fun ways to build fact fluency (knowing the answers quickly, without the use of fingers/cubes/drawing pictures.) This is a year long goal that we will work on through May in a variety of fun and exciting ways!
CRCT! You read that correctly! Your child's online CRCT login and password is coming home soon! Be sure to put this tan paper in a safe and secure spot. Please keep in mind that if you start practicing now, there will be concepts we have not yet covered. Additional practice will be sent home closer to the actual tests.
Tellus Museum here we come! A field trip form is coming home this week. This trip is absolutely free for your child. However, if you would like to join us (and we hope you will!) the cost is $12.00 per adult. If you are a member, it is free. Siblings are not invited to join us on this special adventure. Please be sure to return the signed permission slip as soon as possible, even if will not be chaperoning. Thanks!
