What is Science Olympiad?


Elementary Science Olympiad events take advantage of the natural curiosity of each child, and allow for in-depth hands-on experiences. 
Our Science Olympiad program at East Side Elementary School involves hands-on experimenting, indepth scientific research and independent study. Only students who are self-starters, motivated and mature are accepted. During the year, our Science Olympians work together as a team and prepare to compete against other teams in Cobb County. After the County competition, the team prepares to compete against other teams from all over the State of Georgia.
