CAP AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION
Date: Tuesday, April 29, 2008
Place: Downstairs Library
Time: Lunch Recess
**All items must be paid for before you will receive your order. If you have a remaining
balance, it is suggested that you pay it off, so you can just pick-up your order. If you don't
pay it off beforehand, you will need to bring the payment at pick-up time.**
SENIOR SONG PRACTICES (MANDATORY):
Dates: May 8 (Mandatory), May 12, 13, 15, 19, 20 & 22, May 28 (Mandatory).
Place: Kauai High School Gym
Time: Lunch Recess
*Please note that the first song practice on May 8, and the last song practice on May 28, are
MANDATORY FOR ALL GRADUATES! In order to participate in the graduation ceremony and receive
graduation tickets, students must attend AT LEAST 5 SONG PRACTICES (including the mandatory May
8 & May 28 practices). You will need your student ID to get into the gym. Please eat lunch
during morning recess on these days.
SENIOR LUAU
Date: Thurs., May 22, 2008
Place: Smith's Tropical Paradise
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Cost: Seniors & Adults $30, $15 per child ages 3-12.
*Tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis during lunch recess until Fri., May 9.
There are only 500 tickets available!
SENIORS PICNIC
Date: Fri., May 23, 2008
Place: TBA
Time:8:30am-2:00 p.m.
Cost: $10
*Students who attend must report to school and ride the bus to and from the picnic. Sign-ups
and payments will be held during lunch recess until Fri., May 9, 2008.
GRADUATION REHEARSAL (MANDATORY):
Date: Fri., May 30, 2008.
Place: Vidinha Stadium
Time: 8:30 a.m. (YOU MUST BE CHECKED IN BY THIS TIME!!)
*Graduates must attend the rehearsal in order to participate in the ceremony. Anyone who does
not attend the rehearsal or misbehaves during the rehearsal will have their privileges revoked.
Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc. are encouraged as we will be practicing in the sun.
GRADUATION CEREMONY:
Date: Fri., May 30, 2008.
Place: Vidinha Stadium
Time: Graduates must be there by 3:45 p.m. Gates for guests with tickets will open at 4:30
p.m. Ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m.
ATTIRE: Boys - black slacks (NO JEANS!), white collared shirt, and black covered shoes.
Girls - white dress or white skirt and white top, and white dress shoes or sandals.
BOTH - ABSOLUTELY NO SLIPPERS!
*Admission by ticket only. Graduates have the opportunity to earn tickets through participation
in senior song practices. Graduates can receive a maximum of 5 tickets.
