ANNOUNCEMENTS TO STUDENTS
***ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WHO PLAN ON RIDING THE SCHOOL BUS NEXT SCHOOL 
YEAR - Please turn in your applications by today (June 5).  All late 
applicants will not be able to ride the school bus on the first day of 
school for next school year so be sure to get your applications in by 
Friday.  Applications are available from the main office.  (Mrs. Nobriga)

***ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS - Please take your senior picture for next school 
year during the summer break, all photos will be due on Fri., September 18, 
2009.  You may take your photo professionally or yourself as long as they 
meet these guidelines:  photo of you only, head & shoulder shot only, no 
inappropriate clothing or gestures and all photos must be at least wallet 
size or if on a digital disk, it must be 300 dpi.  Any questions, please see 
Mr. Low.  (Mr. Low)

***ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS - Summer is about freedom and what better way to 
celebrate your freedom than by signing up for the Summer Reading Program.  
This program is free and you are free to read any books that you choose and 
you can win free stuff.  It's simple -- you choose a prize that you want to 
earn and see how many books you need to read by the end of the program.  You 
will receive prizes and you can be entered to win our weekly prize drawings 
including an Ipod Shuffle.  Registration begins today.  Start reading as 
soon as you register.  The program runs from June 15 - July 17, so go to the 
Lihue Public Library and sign-up.  (Mrs. Fuchigami)

REGISTRATION:  New student that needs to register, go directly to 
the Registrar's Office (follow yellow arrows).  

FEE PAYMENT: DID NOT PAY for your fees, go to the Main Office to pay for 
fees.

LUNCH ACCOUNT:  To deposit money into your lunch acount, go to the Main 
Office and drop your payment into the Lunch Deposit Box.  Breakfast 0.35 
each / Reduced Breakfast: 0.20 each / 2nd Breakfast: $1.50 each / Lunch 
$1.25 each / Reduced 0.20 each / 2nd Lunch $4.00.

OBLIGATIONS: To clear your obligation, go to the Main Office.  

SCHOOL WEAR, STUDENT ACTIVITY FORMS, STUDENT ID PICTURE TAKING, LOCKER 
FORMS, STUDENT ACTIVITIES BLANKET PERMISSION FORMS & STUDENT VIDEO RELEASE 
FORMS, go to Room Portable 26, see the Student Activites Coordinator
(directly to the Left Back of the main office).

*Note: PARKING PERMIT APPLICATIONS are available two weeks after the start 
of school at the main office.  Forms must be completely filed prior to 
turning them into the Account Clerk's office. Cost for the permit is $5.00.  

SCHOOL SUPPLIES, Kauai High School does not have a school supplies list, 
students are asked to bring a notebook and a pen on the first day of school 
as teachers will inform students as to what supplies they will need for that 
class.

VISITORS ON CAMPUS
All visitors are to report directly to the main office.  All visitors, 
including guest speakers MUST obtain permission from the school's 
Administration prior to their visit.  No relatives or friends of students 
are to visit during school hours.  The visitor's parking area is located in 
front of "U" Building or at the 1 hour parking along Lala Road.

NOTE REGARDING ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED TO YOUR CHILD - Attention Parents:  
Just a reminder, if you need to drop off something for your child and school 
has started, please come to the office and we will be sure to have your 
child pick up the item.  All visitors to the campus must check in at the 
front office first.  Please do not go to the classroom during 
instructional time.  Please make after school arrangements in the morning, 
if there is an emergency or late change in plans, we will get a message to 
your child.  There may be times when the class is not in their room and the 
message cannot be relayed.

NOTE REGARDING PICKING UP YOUR CHILD EARLY FROM SCHOOL - Attention Parents:  
Please coordinate after school transportation with your child before your 
child goes to school.  This will alleviate disruptions during important 
class time.  If you have an emergency during school hours and you need to 
contact your child, please call the main office and they will immediately 
get a message to your child. If you need to pick up your child for a doctors 
appointment or other personal business, please send your child to the office 
with a written note stating what time your child needs to leave school so we 
can issue a Student Off Campus Pass.
