SENIORS - CLASS OF 2009 INFORMATION

***KAUAI HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2009***
SENIOR CLASS INFORMATION

Parents/Guardians and members of the Class of 2009, the time has come for senior photos. During
this summer vacation, senior portraits should be taken and a copy submitted to the yearbook
staff by Monday, September 15, 2008. The yearbook staff recommends that a professional
photographer take the picture, but it is not a requirement. Portraits should be of the head and
shoulder area only, but other variations may be allowed, however, nothing lower than the
waistline.
Students may dress formally or casually, and absolutely no joke photos, costumes or offensive t-
shirts. All photos must be of the senior student only, no family, friends, pets, etc. will be
allowed in the photo. The yearbook Staff reserves the right to reject inappropriate pictures.
Some local photographers will submit a copy of the photo directly to our yearbook staff, so
check with them if they will submit the photo for you or if you need to bring it in yourself.
Look through the yellow pages in your telephone directory for photographers.

For those who prefer the non-professional photo, a family member or friend can take the senior
portrait following these simple guidelines:
 * Photographs must be portraits, taken of the head and shoulder area.
 * Portraits must be of good quality, in color and clarity.
 * Digital photos should be of the highest quality, at least 300 dpi.
 * The photo must be at least wallet size.
