P.14-15 summary, and answer self quiz on p.15. Read Chapter 2 summary, p.30,
and answer self quiz on p. 31 in the text. Take notes on reading, and answer
quizes in a composition notebook.Be prepared to discuss the levels of
organization of life, and the chemical basis of life. An understanding of
basic chemistry will be assumed when entering the classroom.
Tues 8/28 Read Ch. 6.1 & 6.2 Prepare for quiz on Ch. 3 & 4
Wed 8/29 Read Ch. 5.5 & 5.6, for the other sections read the chapter 5
summary. Answer Critical Thinking questions #4, 5, & 6. Complete self quiz,
then check answers in book.
Thurs 8/30 Read remaining sections of chapter 6. Complete self quiz, check.
Read worm dissection handout, and be prepared for the lab on Tuesday. DON'T
FORGET SAFTEY GLASSES AND APRON/LAB COAT.
