About The Teacher

Mr. Gonzales has been teaching at Maryknoll for 18 years as a Religious 
Studies Teacher.  He started teaching in Catholic School education in 1972 
but altogether contributed to it for 25 years.  He has Bachelor of Arts 
degrees in Anthropology and Psychology, a Masters Degree in Oriental 
Medicine.  He has been fully accredited in Catechesis by the Diocese of 
Honolulu since 2002.

Mission For The Class

Scripture
1. To create an awareness on the Word of God according to Catholic 
   Christian principles with the Maryknoll Charismatic flavor of "Noblesse 
   Oblige."
2. To help develop the student's spirituality and bring prayer into their 
   lives.
3. To become Sacred Scripture literate.
4. To become as loving and compassionate as Jesus is.

Christology
1. To make Jesus become alive in the students' lives and to create awareness 
   in serving the common good.
2. To help develop the student's spirituality and bring prayer into their 
   lives.
