Can I turn in homework late?

Homework may be turned in up to three days after the due date. The student's 
grade on the assignment will drop one grade (i.e. B+ to C+) for each day the 
assignment is late.

Can I listen to music in class?

No.  I know that music is really important to young people, but I feel that 
it isn't appropriate in an academic environment.

What should I do if I am absent?

Try to contact me prior to your absence if possible.  If it isn't possible, 
please contact me via email or as soon as you return to school to receive 
the work that you missed.  I will only allow students to make up work from 
absences that are excused.

Is there extra credit?

Typically, I do not offer extra credit.  There may be an occasion in which a 
student deserves an opportunity for extra credit, but this is the exception 
and not the norm.

Since we have expensive laptops on our desks, I believe it is best if we do 
not eat or drink in class.
