We'll have a Socratic seminar on Dec. 3 (Thurs).  Please answer the following 
questions:
1)  Do the benefits of the Aswan dam outweigh the negative effects?
2)  Compare and contrast ancient Pyramids of Egypt with modern America 
monuments.  

Write 350-550 words for each essay.  Include a bibliography with at least ten 
sources.  Use parenthetical citation with at least five times per essay.  Be 
sure to include a title page.  You must complete these questions to 
participate in the seminar. See the instructor with questions.

Complete an artistic representation of your family's Seven Aspects of 
Culture.  Be creative and include all 7 Aspects.  Prepare a 3-6 speech which 
you can recite with minimal use of note cards.  Presentations will begin on 
Nov. 19.
