1. Mass Hysteria Project. You will need to meet with your group members
over the break.
2. Read Twain's "Jumping Frog of Calaveras County". Do the vocab and
questions. See handouts. Familiarize youself with the language - this is how
Huck is written.
3. Crucible Essay revisions. Include the final revised on top; then draft,
then outline.
4. I will be available by email. Remember, I'm a half-day ahead, so it may
take me longer to respond than usual.

12/04 - TC Finish Act III. SG. Take home quiz due Monday, at the beginning of
class or it is not accepted. Revisions for Bradford-Smith essays scored
85/100 and under are due on Monday 12/07.
12/03 - TC Act III. pg.83 - 102. (Stop at the italics when the girls enter.)

11/24 - Essay revisions due tomorrow. You may want to start on the homework
assigned over the break....

11/20 - Writing the Bradford-Smith compare-contrast essay. Due Monday. Be
sure to include your chart, filled out chart for full points. See
handouts for the chart and the essay prompt.
11/19 - Read John Smith's "The General History of Virginia" (see Handouts).
Do the vocab and questions. Do NOT give me one sentence answers. Be
complete! Define the vocab in YOUR OWN WORDS - DO NOT copy-cut-paste
definitions! You must also complete Bradford, if you didn't in class.
11/17 - Get the syllabus signed. Bring your computer and Literature CD.
Essay: "It's all about me"(background info, likes/dislikes, etc)? What do you
consider your strengths? What would you like to improve about yourself?
What is your American Dream (goals for this year, in 5 yrs/10 yrs/20 yrs,
lifetime etc)? 2-3 pages. Follow paper format guidelines.
