About The Teacher

    Hi!  Welcome to my webpage!  This is just another resource to help 
my students succeed!  Quality teaching is my number one goal....it 
always has been and will always be!

      I have been involved with some aspect of education for the past 15 
years.  I have taught swimming lessons at the Bloomfield Pool for 14 
years and I am a WSI (level 1) certified instructor.  I have also taught 
children's acrobat classes for 3 years in Bloomfield and for 4 years in 
Ames, IA.  While in Ames, I also taught aerobics and yoga classes and I 
am an ACE certified personal trainer.  As a part of my undergraduate 
program, I was a teaching assistant and taught a relationship skills 
class at Iowa State University.  While at Iowa State, I also received my 
coaching endorsement. 
    I have my master's degree in science education at University of Missouri.  One of the 
best classes I have taken is called "Growing Kids God's Way"...it is a 
great class about how to raise kids in the best way possible...God's 
WAY!!!

   I have a fantastic husband named Chad Lindberg.  He is a 
chiropractor at Ottumwa Chiropractic Clinic in Ottumwa, Iowa.  We have 
4 beautiful daughters named Haylie, Drennan, Brylie, and Brenna. We have a HILARIOUS son 
named Drew.  Haylie is 9 years old and a 3rd grader.  Drennan is 5 
years old. Drew is 3 years old.  Brylie is almost 2 years old.  Baby Brenna was born January 14th.  We 
have a full and happy and BUSY household!

Mission For The Class

      I focus my teaching to enhance the students higher order thinking 
skills.  This will help the students be able to more independent as 
learners and make them more successful as students.
