About The Teacher

     I graduated from UNI with a BA degree in Elementary Education with an 
emphasis in Special Education. I taught remedial reading and math for 4 
years. I am currently in my 25th year in 3rd grade.
     I am married to Philip Norton. He works at Mikels Inc. in Bloomfield, 
Iowa. We have three daughters. Nicole graduated from the 
University of Iowa in May 2005, Abby is a Senior at Iowa State, and Drew is 
a Senior at DCHS. She is the creator of this website.
    I enjoying reading, collecting antiques, traveling, and shopping. I also 
am an avid Green Bay Packers fan!

Mission For The Class

    My goal for my students is to give them the tools they will need to be 
successful in life. I believe anyone can do anything they set out to do. If 
parents,students, and the teacher work together only good things will happen.
