Coach Sandy Warning has coached the DCHS Girls Tennis Team since
its beginning in 1992. Coach Warning has taken 12 girls to the state
tennis tournament in the last eight years. Lori Utt and Jennifer Silvers
earned 6th place in doubles at the 2002 tournament.
The girls tennis program is based on fun and competition. Learning the
basics, improving technique, and improving physical performance are
the main objectives for tennis players. Tennis is a lifelong activity that
can be enjoyed for many years. Girls are encouraged to become a part
of this great activity.
